Paris. Grand Pigalle

Paris. Grand Pigalle

Located in the Parisian neighborhood South Pigalle – one of the most artistic and charming parts of Paris – Grand Pigalle is a small-scale boutique hotel. Last year it was one of my favorite hotels in Paris – stylish, chic, charming, a tiny bit vintage, and incredibly beautiful – especially if you get a room on the 5th floor with a view over the roofs, catching a glimpse of the beautiful Sacre Coeur

”From the top floor, where beautiful suites are set underthe eaves to the ground floor or, rez-de-chaussée, harmonies of deep color evoke the Experimental Group’s unique style and the skills of the designer Dorothée Meilichzon. Every detail is considered for the guests’ comfort and illustrates the experience of eight years of hospitality dedicated to quality service and the realisation of the client’s pleasure. Cosmopolitan par excellence, the Grand Pigalle Hotel is above all, a Parisian address.”

The moment you enter the hotel, you embark on a journey of dark blues mixed and matched with gold and those incredibly charming tiles. And then you go up. One by one, rooms enchant everyone who enters. It could be because of jazz radio playing or maybe because of the small details that await you, starting from the telephone, nightstand, bed, curtains, and those very delectable bathrooms. Yes, everything here is delectable. This is a must if you want to experience the artistic French way of living in Paris.

Plus, this is one of those rare hotels in which you can stay and have lunch or dinner right in the restaurant below (that rarely happens in Paris) because it is no ordinary restaurant, as it is ‘Frenchie’. Serving "food to share" plates, it offers quite a small, yet very refined menu that pleases every taste bud and all who enter. A true gem.
