Horses, cherries, and a bit of pink
There is magic in preparing for something. Be it the opera or a picnic, there is always something special. And to be honest, it is as special as we make it, and we can always make it more special than it is. Because that is what makes life more interesting and emotional.
Going to the stables can be just a visit, but it can be also be an event. Something for when you get your summer shorts out, wear your favorite shirt, and put on your riding shoes and cat hat on, so that you can finally get on the bike and ride. Riding through the forest to have picnic next to them. Next to the horses.
The magic is not only in eating at the picnic. The magic is in preparing the food, taking things with you, and going. Driving in a car is nice, but nothing beats biking along small forest roads and breathing in all the fresh air that the forest gives us. These are moments that are not too expensive to buy, but they are priceless.
The picnic and the food at the photo session (this was an actual family picnic at the stable) was inspired by the Lindex Kids Holly& Whyte collection that I saw and wanted to capture right away. I could not resist that red glasses look from that lovely cat. I just love the French Riviera inspired sun umbrella shirt. And oh, those colors with all the pastel blue and pink that called for the smoothest panna cota. That is the story about food this time. A tasty and beautiful story. About food and moments to share.
