Because in food I trust. In all forms and shapes.

Festive. Edible. Gifts

Festive. Edible. Gifts

If there’s one thing I cherish the most, it is attention. Not for myself, but to details and to the things we do. I simply cannot give someone a gift if I'm not sure that is the perfect one. I think and think and think again. I plan, I buy, I order, I wrap, I give. I give not just for the sake of giving, but because I love to give. I want to say thank you. I want that person to feel special. I know it would be easier to grab something on my way, but that would not be true.

Although I also buy things to give as gifts, but there’s nothing like a gift I've made myself. I don't like to sew, I don’t knit, I don't draw, but I can cook and bake. I can say THANK YOU or I LOVE YOU through the gift I have – making food. And I do this often. For my friends, partners, people I like to thank, to anyone. And in this sense, Christmas is very special for me. It is the time of year when I like to bake cakes and cookies, make caramel and flavoured salt and sugar, and put that all in a box and deliver it. Deliver it to someone special. To someone who has been with me, has helped me, has been there.

So here, together with H&M Home, I’ve put together some of the recipes I'm giving away this year – flavored salt and sugar, fairytale Christmas cakes, Breton cookies, pâté, marinated olives and cheese, and granola. Something that looks good and tastes fantastic, because we all deserve the best.
