Country living. Day 5
It was 8.30 in the morning when I went to the kitchen to have my cup of coffee, book, and silence. Everyone was asleep, and I loved it. I planned what to cook for dinner, and it wasn't even breakfast time. We decided to go to Jelgava (a city close by) to a small but lovely coffee place called Academia. When our cappuccino arrived followed by the plates of pancakes and waffles, we knew, we made the right choice - to have a slightly different breakfast. We came back, and with rain slowly stopping, I walked through the garden to see how plants are trying to soak up all the water they need. I like to watch them drinking. For dinner, I made quickly pickled cucumbers (with tarragon, dill, onion, salt, oil, and blackcurrant brunch leave), grilled aubergine, steak and it was all we needed.
