Some call her the queen of babkas. Others praise her for her sublime pastries. While others like to go to her pastry shop to get her cantuccini-like cookies made according to her grandparent’s recipe. The first time I discovered her was because of those scrumptious babkas, which I bought too many. And madeleines. However, to be fair, I fell in love with her work even before I entered the pâtisserie, passing it by, glancing every time I had a chance, and stalking her pastries on Instagram.
