Jun 7 Tuscany. Dinner in vineyards

It was 2017. Yes, time flies, but it feels like only yesterday. It was a week after we arrived at OT homes, still not knowing anything but pretending to know so much. But one thing we knew – we want to cook food, get the table in the middle of the vineyard and have dinner there. I cooked some food, the men carried the tables, chairs and wine, and the ladies brought the food down there – somewhere in the vineyards, with grapes still tiny and fresh and olive trees with fruit just beginning to grow. It was so warm, the sun was slowly getting ready to go to sleep and we were had a great appetite to eat, drink and talk. And we did ‘til the plates were empty, the sun was rising somewhere else, and jackets were taken out.
