Lyon. Fresco Glacier

There is no life in Lyon without ice cream, but as everywhere, one has to know where to look for it. For ice cream that is not only visually pleasing but satisfactory to its core, meaning that the ingredients are local and exceptional, and the people who produce it respect their work. There are few places in Lyon where that happens (ice cream wise), and when you find a place, you stick to it, and everyone likes to stick to Fresco Glacier. How do I know that? Firstly, this is the little brother of Unico Glacier, famous for its sustainable, local, and distinctive way of creating ice cream. Secondly, those tastes and textures are beyond incredible, and that comes from a person who is usually the only one not having any when the whole group is all in. I'm all in at Fresco. 

The tastes are seasonal, so suggesting what you should get when you visit is unnecessary, but no matter what you order, it will be pleasing, whether it is strawberry sorbet or pistachio ice cream. And remember, we are talking solely about soft-serve ice cream. To go one step further, go wild and enjoy one of their desserts, such as Paris-Brest, Cookies and Cream, etc.
