Paris. Palais Royal
Palais Royal is not a place to write about as one has to see it. A former palacefor Cardinal Richelieu, it is a public space and garden today, hidden so well that you have to discover it on purpose. Once you've done that, you'll return again and again. Since 1986, it has been holding a beautiful piece of art Les Deux Plateaux mastered by Daniel Buren and is now one of the iconic places to take pictures during the day, but late afternoon is the time when the crowds disappear, and the locals slide through. Les Deux Plateau is just a small part of the beauty that lies behind the gates entering from the side of the Louvre – the palace gardens take your breath away. Whenever I am there, I take my coffee or ginger tea at the charming Cafe Kitsune and enjoy it sitting some place in the garden.
